The Certified Behavioral Coach Program Drives  The Engagement Strategy

The Certified Behavioral Coach Program (CBC) is the anchor for the new plan under which volunteer Coach-Mentors are trained and certified to drive ready-made Employee Engagement initiatives.

CBC guides you to mastery of strategies that will help you to empower others into identifying where they are, where they want to be and the best strategies for getting there.

It relates to the application of tested methods for coaching behavior change. The certification is designed to support leadership, coaching and mentoring, the enhancing of productivity and the creation of a positive environment in groups and organizations.

Further, the crisis related to Employee Engagement is a major challenge internationally. Coaching at the functional levels is now an imperative for organizations who want to remain competitive. This is NOT an issue that can be simply left for HR to sort out. Coaching is required of team leaders at all levels.

For many, the certification also represents career insurance and retirement planning.

The Challenge

Employee Engagement continues on a downward spiral!

12% of businesses are happy with current levels of employee engagement (CBI)

Employers say there’s a 40% turnover rate among workers (CareerBuilder)

Organizations have launched a variety of strategies to arrest the declining Employment Engagement levels.

However, the harsh reality is that little ground has been gained.

New approaches are needed to deliver higher levels of Employee Engagement. The payoff is worth adopting alternative approaches.

Smart organizations are solving the low Employee Engagement and Retention challenges through a clever win-win arrangement.

The arrangement incorporates an agreement to train volunteer Coach Mentors in return for  which they use ready-to-go coaching materials to engage and empower colleagues.

The plan has three easy-to-implement steps.

  • Select Coach-Mentor Volunteers

Send out an invitation to reliable, respected team members who have the capacity and interest in coaching and mentoring.

  • Share the unique opportunity

Offer to enrol volunteers in the Certified Behavioral Coach program that is accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF); the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and Extended DISC International.

In return, volunteers apply their knowledge and use fully developed, turn-key content to coach and mentor other team members.

  • Launch the done-for-you Coach-Mentoring Program

Certified Behavioral Coach candidates benefit from the live weekly coaching sessions and have full access to a resource-rich Membership Community with Webinar replays, Bonus Courses, Blog posts and Discussion Forum.

Coach-Mentors use those resources to empower successive groups of future-leaders including the growing band of Millennials.

What are the current core engagement strategies?

The most popular methods to actively manage and drive employee engagement:  (CultureIQ)

Drafting employee engagement surveys

Ccreating culture committees and events

Offering employee resource groups

Missing Component?

"The answer to the Engagement Crisis is ENGAGEMENT!

There is too much emphasis on committees, support groups and events.

What is missing is ready access to trained, high-touch, empathetic sources of encouragement and empowerment."

Here is what some of our Certified Behavioral Coaches have to say:

Dr. Jean Beaumont

Dr. Jean Beaumont, Educator/Leadership Professional

I am taking this opportunity to express sincere thanks and appreciation to you for so skillfully guiding me through, what was for me, an unknown territory of Behavioral Coaching.

Practicing this new coaching craft has allowed me to recognize, understand and plan how to harmoniously guide differing behavioral styles to achieve the best while working with others, at home or at work.

Kathleen Beckford  BSc Management & Psychology says:

My investment in the CBC training has aided my transformational journey.  While I had some knowledge of my personality trait having done some other work, I did not understand why I chose certain behavioural tools.

This training affords me a greater understanding of myself, an appreciation of the behaviour of others and how to improve communication with what I would otherwise call “difficult” people.  I now understand why I execute some tasks easily and effortlessly while some others require more energy, commitment and focus.

I strongly recommend this training as it augurs well for improved relationships whether at home or at the workplace.

Livingstone Morrison

Livingstone Morrision, Deputy Governor Central Bank

“I have been involved in executive management for the better part of 20 years with more than my fair share of success.

Yet, the Certified Behavioral Coach Program offered by Success With People Academy, has provided a new and exciting angle from which I can now pursue my passion for people, team and organizational development.

The D-I-S-C framework has changed my perspective on management,
leadership, followership and human interaction; forever.”

Kalando Wilmoth, Chief Strategist The Write House:

Becoming a Certified Behavioural Coach is definitely one of the best things I did for my life and career.

It was new; it challenged me and introduced possibilities for my work as a communications strategist focused on people development.

I unreservedly recommend anyone who is even thinking about doing this course: Just do it!

Being a Certified Behavioural Coach is beyond personal development it is finding a path to the best you.

Lurline Cummings

Information Resource Specialist

As a mid-career information professional, I wanted to expand my horizons.

I identified coaching as a suitable option, mainly as a means of giving back. So, I completed the 9-week online interactive ICF/ SHRM accredited Certified Behavioural Coaching course – a perfect fit.

It was a unique educational experience in coaching, mentorship and leadership behaviour which provided a framework to diagnose and build successful collaborative relationships.

It empowered me to effect change through a new understanding of behavioural styles through self-analysis and application of the Extended DISC framework.

The facilitators were knowledgeable, patient and engaging in imparting the concepts.

Practical tools such as cases and interactions with practitioners were used to demonstrate concepts and give insights into the complex behavioural issues inside and outside the workplace. If you want to make a positive impact on the lives of others, I strongly recommend it.
